This is OSU's Mens Basketball Locker room. It cost about 4.5 mil. In here you will see custom massage chairs, screen Tv's, surround sound, Pool Tables, and every other ingredient needed to create and grow your colleges' own douche bags. For further instructions see the video below. That being said, I wish was a college athlete at OSU.
Those who know me should know I'm a film buff and amateur conspiracy theorist. This is a clip that covers both. Was there a time traveler in Charlie Chaplin's 1928 move 'The Circus'? Tell me what you think.
If you didn't catch it. Watch again. The lady that walks behind the zebra who is covering her face. Is she using a cellphone in 1928?
None of this is CGI or special effects. Just some people with a lot of time, a bunch of skills, and balls bigger than the new republicans. DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!! (but if you do, tape it and send it to us)
It's crazy how you can take a product, and get it big enough to create your own side projects involving whatever you please. Speaking of which, the Red Bull Big Tune event allowed its recent champion, Frank Dukes, to choose which A-List Emcee with whom he wanted to produce a track. He chose Ghostface, and any Hip-Hop head can't be mad at the man for that one. Check out the video below.
Sony Walkman (Senior) has reached the end of side two. Its batteries have run out. The rewind button is broken.
Lovers of music overlaid with hissing have reacted with sadness to news that Sony has ceased production of its celebrated portable cassette-playing audio device. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk. Chk."
That was how it sounded when you sat next to a foam-headphoned user on the bus, overlaid with the faint but recognisable vocal inflections of Pat Benatar.
Smirnoff, Centric, and BET are throwing a new reality show with a twist AND some credibility. Would ya look at that?
The show's featuring Just Blaze, QBert, Kid Capri, Grandmaster DJ Scratch, Jazzy Joyce, Rich Medina, DJ Rap, DJ Mars, and Vikter Duplaix among other internationally known artists.
DJ Premier may be from what young hip-hop listeners would now consider the “old school,” but he wouldn’t remain one of the most revered producers more than twenty years into his career if he didn’t know how to adapt to the culture’s evolving landscape. Preem’s revered ear is for more than samples; he’s got an ear for the new generation’s rising talent, as well. In a recent interview with the legendary hip-hop architect he revealed to XXLMag.com that he hopes to work with rising stars J. Cole and Drake.
Next Monday, November 1st, Gasoline Dream is having its break out event at Greenhouse on 150 Varick Street. The party will be featuring the Mighty Monsta X & the Fashion World's "Dee & Ricky" along with Hot New Artist Swizzy Swinton releasing his Mixtape Swizzy's Wordl!! Steve Powers'll be celebrating his BDay on the decks!! Open Bar from 10pm to 11pm. Don't miss out
An update/remix from Run's previous post on Jimmy McMillan. This is a great reinterpretation of Mr. McMillan's words to a different character. If you've seen the movie it really is fitting. Enjoy.
I mean...it's not like homosexuals can't shoot as well heterosexuals. I don't what the correlation is to one's trigger finger.
The US military has started accepting gay recruits after a California judge last week struck down the "don't ask, don't tell" policy barring openly gay people from serving.
But the US Department of Defense says new gay recruits are warned the repeal of the law may be overturned.
Jimmy McMillan was one of 7 participants in yesterday's debate amongst all of the candidates running for Governor's seat in the empire state. In these clips, he provides his views on children, gay marriage, and of course...the rent.
If you didn't tell anyone, you might think this was a Dave Chapelle skit.
Happy Tuesday! Don't feel like being at work? Is that one annoying co-worker poking at your last nerve right now? Well, Flying Lotus (and his army of Legoesque robots) feels your pain. This is one of my favorite tracks off of his latest, Pattern & Grid World EP
I was put on to this article a little earlier today. Don't really know what to make of it, but nonetheless it's a decent conversation piece. Read the rest of the article here at the BVX.
Still, Ye never relinquished the role of the quasi-nerd who never gets the prom queen because she only dates jocks. He's since become a jock, but he no longer seeks merely to win the prom queen, but rather to run the whole prom court . In doing so, he's become infatuated with the old (exclusively white) boys club, which runs the courts of hubris, pomp, privilege and capital -- social and financial capital and arguably more of the former.
His apology to Taylor Swift signified a certain racial deference, given that there was no Tweeted "sorry" also to Janet Jackson, the person who was supposed to be the center of attention at that year's VMAs for her moving tribute to her deceased King of Pop brother -- all of which was overshadowed by West's antics.
I heard this a little over a week ago, and it definitely made me think that Flex is ready to make a come back. He and Kool DJ Red Alert had a very memorable set in the name of Mr. Magic. Click here to check out the rest at In Flex We Trust.
Mr. Magic debuted in 1981 on WHBI-FM in New York City with the first exclusive rap radio show to be aired on a major station. Billing itself as Rap Attack, Magic’s show featured Marley Marl as the DJ and Tyrone “Fly Ty” Williams as the show’s co-producer. Magic moved to WBLS-FM in July 1982. Magic’s reign on the New York City airwaves lasted six years and was instrumental in broadening the scope and validity of hip-hop music.

I didn't see the BET Awards, but I did see this clip and ummm...the defibrillator of Hip-Hop and his G.O.O.D. Music crew alongside Premier ripped a new one with their segment. Now it's time for us to go check out Cyhi The Prince.
I'm Big L, Notorious, Big Pun, Sean Carter, Sean Combs, and Connery all in one / Whoever told you "sky's the limit" is lookin' dumb cuz I'm 22 and I'm moonwalkin' on the sun - Big Sean-
Complex in its realness and simplicity. C'Mon Son. This week has been crazy as far as the other perspectives I've been exposed to, so I decided to put this up just to show how complex one can get without using vocabulary that not everyone understands. The more effective a communicator one is, the fewer words he/she has to use.
With the same song they knight you they gonna good night you with / Shit...it's only half if they like you / that ain't even the half of what they might do / don't believe me? Ask Michael / See Martin see Malcolm... / See Biggie see Pac... see success in its outcome / See Jesus see Judas / See Caesar see Brutus / See success is like a suicide...suicide it's a suicide / When you succeed prepare to be crucified / Media meddles.../ niggas sue you, you'll settle / Every step you take they remind you you're ghetto / So it's tough being Bobby Brown / To be Bobby then you gotta be Bobby now / Now the question is: Is to have had and lost better than not having at all? Because dawg..."Most Kingz Get their Head cut off..."
Plies must have been listening to the critics. We all know Plies has a good heart. Last year he payed a young female $1000 to leave his concert because he thought it wasn't appropriate for her age. Still he gets hated on by the likes of former superstars and current crack users for not being a teacher. Now he makes a song, 'Why U Hate Us,' that addresses racism straight up no chasers. If you hate on this go take a ride on a razor blade waterslide. The move to consciousness is often shunned by the hip hop nation so let's see what's good.
Kid Cudi is one of my favorite new artist. Here he does his thing with the help of big Kanyeezy who once again kills the track, and 2/3 of the SuperBad crew. All dressed like their next stop could be Woodstock 2010.
Damn I love that grown introspective ish. Joe Buddens and Slaughterhouse partner Crooked I go in on new track 'Sober Up'. In an age when MC's aren't supposed to be thinkers, this is refreshing. Of course when I need to see some ass shaking I'm going to Gucci, or whatever temporary group has the new dance out this week.
Former Heisman winner and NFL all-star, Hershell Walker, is getting ready for his second MMA match. Not crazy for a former elite athlete except that this dude is a year away from 50. He trains for hours a day sometimes not eating at all. We can't all be Mr. Walker but a few situps and pushups can't hurt. Check dude out in the Espn Body issue where some of the best athletes pose nuded for the sports magazine. Dude is ripped for somebody who's soon going to qualify for senior citizens discounts. He does about 500 to 1500 pushups every morning. I'm out. I'm about to do 5 pushups and flex in the mirror for 15 minutes.
Some people prefer to spend tons of money on pink football equipment instead of research in the name of breast cancer...we at Gasoline Dream prefer to be a bit more preventive and proactive. Your welcome.
Ladies and gentlemen...we no longer have to feel guilty cuz we're saving lives!! In more ways than one...Don't believe me? Then check out this article from CNN.
"(AP) --Women who perform the act of fellatio and swallow semen on a regular basis, one to two times a week, may reduce their risk of breast cancer by up to 40 percent, a North Carolina State University study found."
In a study of over 15,000 women suspected of having performed regular fellatio and swallowed the ejaculatory fluid, over the past ten years, the researchers found that those actually having performed the act regularly, one to two times a week, had a lower occurrence of breast cancer than those who had not.
Not only is it tragic, but it's also beyond me how countries similar to Nigeria supply so much of their resources to numerous countries and still aren't able to sustain...
Surgeons operating with kerosene lanterns and accident victims waiting in dark hospital corridors because there's no light to see their injuries; these are among the realities of life during Nigeria's long power outages, according to a group campaigning to improve electricity supply.
"Nigeria is one of the world's largest producer of fossil fuels so we shouldn't have a problem generating our own electricity." --Amara Nwankpa
This looks like an interesting project. Anthony Mackie (Pac in "Notorious") and Kerry Washington are in this movie about a young man and woman who reunite years after spending some time in the Black Panther Party located in Philadelphia, PA. Check it out.
You may have heard that Barack Obama shared some thoughts about Fox News Channel in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. When asked about the channel, Obama pointed out that media outlets with a political perspective have been relatively common throughout U.S. history, but that he believed Fox's perspective is "ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class."
Yea...Obesity is a very serious issue and desperate times may call for desperate measures...but come on. Like people are saying...this is an extremely intense commercial concerning a burger. They need to begin an anti-ugz campaign (Check out the very beginning of the video)
Murderous Monch infiltrated the airwaves over in London and went OFF!! Hands down one of the most underrated Emcees ever if not THE most.
"My esophogus is quite atonic when I vomit / It's bio-engineered ergonomics / Truth divided by...innovative ebonics times goose, lime, crushed ice, and a splash of tonic"
Atonic: Without normal muscle tone or strength. An atonic seizure is one in which the person suddenly loses muscle tone and strength and cannot sit or stand upright and, unless supported, falls down.
Ergonomics is the science of designing user interaction with equipment and workplaces to fit the user. Proper ergonomic design is necessary to prevent repetitive strain injuries, which can develop over time and can lead to long-term disability.
And here's to artistic and well shot music videos. Haven't seen stuff like this for a long time. This would've been a dope song to put on "Where The Wild Things Are" soundtrack.
CNN anchorman Rick Sanchez has just left the company after making some pretty strong statements. Don't know what to make of it just yet, but figured you should probably know.
Sanchez called Stewart a bigot during a radio show on Thursday and abruptly left CNN on Friday.
Sanchez, a Cuban-American from a poor immigrant family in Miami, said Stewart was "upset that someone of my ilk is almost at his level".
