This song is Super

Ok, so this track has been out for a minute, but still have to share it with you. This song would probably make the Cabbie I had last night move, and he claimed that he does not like music. On another note, my Mother and I were jamming to this in her kitchen. I think it's safe to say that when two generations can agree on a song, it is probably magical. Anyways...without further ado here's Duck Sauce's "aNYway" This video is great. Duck sauce is a duo that consists of amazing turntablist A Trak and world renowned Armand Van Helden.

JZBBC

So during Jay's stay in the UK he came through to Jon Ross' and showed everyone that he does have a sense of humor. Despite his well timed jokes, you still can't shake the feeling that he's not totally comfortable up there. Not that I would be...but still

Charged with Genocide

Current President of the Sudan, and head of the National Congress Party, Omar al-Bashir had an ICC warrant issued for him last year in 2009. This year officials are in deliberation about whether or not three counts of genocide should be added. Below is an excerpt from the BBC article posted yesterday.

Prosecutors say Mr Bashir's government sought to wipe out three ethnic groups.

They argued last year that it had intended to destroy the Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa peoples.

If genocide charges are now brought, they will be the first to be issued by the ICC against a sitting head of state.

African and Arab leaders have rallied around Mr Bashir and several nations have refused to honour the existing warrant.

Mr Bashir was travelling to Qatar for a one-day visit on Wednesday for talks on peace in Darfur with the Qatari leader, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah al-Thani, Sudanese state radio said.

The UN says 300,000 people have died in the Darfur conflict since 2003.

That...if true my friends, is incredible.

They Shootin'

Unfortunately, even more Mexican citizens have been slain at the hands of what local police believe to be rival cartels in Ciudad Juarez. The city is apparently on the drug smuggling route into the US, and the shooting occured at a party.

The bodies of the victims - whose ages reportedly ranged from 15 to 20 - lay scattered around the house.

Unnamed police officials told AP news agency that witnesses had counted at least 15 attackers.

"The men drove up in four SUVs, they were well-armed. They went into the house and shot at everyone, you could hear the gunfire all around," said a neighbor at the scene, quoted by Reuters news agency...But the campaign has done little to curb the bloodletting - more than 7,000 people reportedly died in Mexican drug-related violence last year.

Beheadings, attacks on police, and shootings in clubs and restaurants are a daily occurrence in some regions.
