MC Hammer is just....Out of Touch.
So...MC Hammer tried to touch Jay-Z with his own diss track...except it's funny cuz he was destroyed before he even responded by that one bar. Anyways, I find it pretty insulting that a man would use religion for publicity. If he was really that passionate about exposing Jay's "partnership" with satan then why is it only being put out after "So Appalled"?? Regardless, this video is still pretty comedic. This is where MMA, Religion, Hip-Hop, and @$$holes meet. Hahaha enjoy.

Off With HIS head???? Hmm...
Complex in its realness and simplicity. C'Mon Son. This week has been crazy as far as the other perspectives I've been exposed to, so I decided to put this up just to show how complex one can get without using vocabulary that not everyone understands. The more effective a communicator one is, the fewer words he/she has to use.
With the same song they knight you they gonna good night you with /
Shit...it's only half if they like you /
that ain't even the half of what they might do /
don't believe me? Ask Michael /
See Martin see Malcolm... /
See Biggie see Pac... see success in its outcome /
See Jesus see Judas /
See Caesar see Brutus /
See success is like a suicide...suicide it's a suicide /
When you succeed prepare to be crucified /
Media meddles.../
niggas sue you, you'll settle /
Every step you take they remind you you're ghetto /
So it's tough being Bobby Brown /
To be Bobby then you gotta be Bobby now /
Now the question is: Is to have had and lost better than not having at all? Because dawg..."Most Kingz Get their Head cut off..."

Power Remix (Feat. Jay-Z) - Kanye West

Ayyyy Dios mio...this track has officially been FUBAR'D. Ye's untitled album is dropping in November, and he's back with that commercial conscious liberation music...can't you tell how excited we are?

BAWSE

Ok...so I'm contemplating coming with a series of post inspired by the C.O. himself in addition to individuals so wealthy that they have time to worry about things like the art of smoking a cigar.
"You can pay for school, but you can't buy class"-S. Carter- As a result of this truth, I'll try and discover new an interesting things that involve having "Bawse" like tendencies that have nothing to do with selling crack/cocaine and everything to do with being educated in the art of the celebration.
On that note, here is an informative blogpost courtesy of the Haute Spot regarding important steps to smoking a cigar. Check it out here

JZBBC
So during Jay's stay in the UK he came through to Jon Ross' and showed everyone that he does have a sense of humor. Despite his well timed jokes, you still can't shake the feeling that he's not totally comfortable up there. Not that I would be...but still

BURR
Alright folks...I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this probably Gucci Man's best song that he's ever been featured on. This definitely also reminds me of This Can't Be Life by Jay, Beans, and the boy Face Mob. (Damn I wish they made an album)

BP3 Lyrics

So here's one pic of the many scans that Nahright got of the BP3 booklet. Just read the verses that Jay is reciting off of the cuff. The second verse of "What We Talkin' About" is actually mind blowing.

JAY-Z & J- COLE Star is Born

My favorite leak so far.
People who are hating on the other songs have to listen closer. The man still has out of this world word play. Listen to Jay like he's teaching an AP class and these other cats are just a real tough teacher in a normal class. You have to dig a little deeper to get the best stuff.
Plus J-Cole is doing his thing.

The Funeral
While it is late, and up on every blog...this video is so much better than all the others in its genre. So it'd be wrong to not acknowledge it with a post. So here it is...the funeral...but if you wear all black in this heat it'll be the death of you too.

Killa Cole
Alright, this is late as crap, but I can't afford to get sued by J. Cole, Jay-Z, or Roc Nation. Here's a really interesting interview he did a while ago too with Complex. In all seriousness, dude is nice. Not as consistent that yellow boy who used to play up on Degrassi, but a bit more lyrical and a lot more "Hip-Hop". Lookout below if you're trying to see what he's about.

NC Ready to Roc
So I'm doing miscellaneous stuff on my laptop, and my fellow LSC afilliate, Rafat, hits me over the head with this news flash about some dude. Can't say I'm chugging the Kool Aid at the moment, but the clip is decent. I saw a couple of posts on nahright but they never really caught my eye. The man's name is J. Cole. He is apparently the first to sign to Jay-Z's label, Roc Nation. Hailing from NC much like on of my favorite duos, Little Brother, it looks everything might be a go...especially since his mixtape, The Warm Up, is supposed to drop today...and Jay-Z is cosigning...not that it really means anything
