MAD Racist?

I honestly don't know...the intentions are pretty clear, and I can't say that I didn't find some of this funny...but where do we draw the line? Do we draw the line? Do we commend them...if we ever needed comments...I think it's now. Anyways, let me know.

One way of being a good nigga is to streamline the world into basic values. Think of the Terminator when he enters that bar at the beginning of T2: Judgment Day. As soon as he walks in he’s sizing up the bar’s patrons to see if they’re the same size as him. “Match” or “No Match”? George W. Bush is fairly similar to the Terminator, but instead of ‘Match” or “No Match”. George W. divides the world into “Terrorists” or “Allies”, and for this ardent simplicity of thought in regard to complex issues of policy, religion, and history, George W. Bush has won the Nigga of the Year award for 8 years straight, sorta like the Meryl Streep of Niggadom.

So...racism does exist...
One point that I wish to emphasize here that was mentioned in the Jezebel article concerning this matter is that when one wishes to find out whether or not a certain type of oppression exists, you don't ask the abuser or beneficiary, but rather the abused or target group. Here's the video below

Hyperpigmentation in Da Pooo?

Last week, over 60 black and Latino day campers were turned away from a swim club in Philadelphia because of complaints by white adult members of the club that, according to the club's president John Duesler, "[A] lot of kids would change the complexion ... and the atmosphere of the club." Reverse Racism DOES Exist...

Sorry, for the mini hiatus, but that is what employment does to some people. Anyways, apparently the Supreme Court just recently ruled that White Firefighters out of New Haven, Connecticut were unfairly denied promotions based on the color of their skin. This ruling reversed a decision that Sonia Sotomayor, Obama's Supreme Court nominee, endorsed as an appeals court judge. While it is a victory for many conservatives, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg stated that the men do, "understandably attract this court's sympathy. But they had no vested right to promotion. Nor have other persons received promotions in preference to them." Despite the ruling, what she stated was something very necessary.

Transformers: Racists in Disguise?

So I went to see The Hangover, but ended up seeing Transformers 2. The movie was ok, but it was LONG. I went in at 12:10AM and didn't leave until 3:00AM. Needless to say I fell asleep. Besides the movie being ridiculously violent, I didn't feel any type of way until what chud.com calls "Little Black Sambots" came into the picture. Like the writer of the article says, if anyone is going to make a ridiculous comment that might offend someone, it's me or someone in my circle, but this is just kind of crazy for such a big blockbuster.
