Contrary to popular belief, rappers are not obligated to always have the hottest lyrics and catchiest hook in order to make quality music. A prime example of this lies in the video below, Summertime. While they may not be the most lyrically gifted artists in the game, the substance, perspective, and energy they bring to your ears is definitely a rarity in '09. Not too long ago they released their latest mixtape, The Pulse of the People, with Green Lantern. If you haven't, make sure to cop their first project, and my favorite Hip-Hop album, Lets Get Free.
